Idag åt vi en ny grönsak som jag köpte i asiatiska affären i Ängelholm: Winged beans.
Hittade ett gott och lätt recept:
Stir-Fried Wing Beans (Sri Lankan Style)
- Dambala/Wing Beans (about 500g)
- 1/2 Red Onion
- 1/2 Tomato
- 1 Garlic
- 1-2 Green chillies
- 3-4 tbsp oil
- 1 Sprig of Curry leaves
- 1/2 tsp of turmueric
- 1 tbs Red chilli flakes
1. Add oil into a heavy skillet and when it is hot, saute the onions, garlic and thinly sliced tomato.
2. Let the tomatoes cook until they are beginning to soften a bit.
3. Now introduce the winged beans (cleaned, deveined and chopped thinly) to the mix, along with the curry leaves, turmuric, green chilli, red chilli flakes.
4. Continue to cook on HIGH heat, with an open container to protect the color.
5. As the winged beans get cooked, taste and adjust salt and acidity by adding some lemon.
